Dr. Pat Boone was a NASCAR Racing Announcer at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the "oldest oval track east of the Mississippi."
Simultaneously, she hosted an original TV series that she created called "Let's Go Racing," spotlighting local racing drivers and their families. Within this series was a special on the Motorsports Engineering Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, North Carolina, including all that lead up to their winning the Intercollegiate Motorsports Championship at Lowes Motor Speedway (Charlotte Motor Speedway).
She also had a series called "Around the Town" that spotlighted local special events, charity events and subjects of interest. During this series, she personally interviewed model and TV star Lauren Hutton.
Both series focused on what's good about life and family and that stories about the lives of real people are always more interesting that fiction.
Dr. Boone is presently a professional announcer and is available as a substitute/special assignment TV host for local TV and talk radio shows.
